Homeworlds—such as Elemens, Felisi, Plumplim, Timtillawinks, and Zibzab—offer distinct abilities, starting technologies, and milestones. Societies—Botanists, Explorers, Guardians, Mathematicians, and Scientists—provide special abilities, milestones, and increasingly powerful technologies as players progress.

Core mechanics include establishing colonies for resource accumulation and additional dice, developing technologies that unlock advanced capabilities, studying locations through probes to enhance scientific knowledge, deploying fleets to expand influence across the galaxy, and achieving milestones that mark civilizational growth.
